This short, interactive course helps learners understand how the human body works and what healthy functioning looks like in a care environment. You’ll explore the body’s main systems, learn how to recognise normal signs of health, and know when changes may need reporting. Through six easy-to-follow modules, you’ll build confidence in supporting client wellbeing — from checking vital signs to promoting hydration, mobility, and comfort. The course also covers practical observation skills, safe support techniques, and clear documentation practices. This course is ideal for: - Entry-level care and support workers - Aged care and disability staff - Students starting out in community or health services - Anyone wanting to refresh their knowledge of healthy body systems By the end of this course, you’ll be able to: - Identify key body systems and their basic functions - Recognise normal signs of health and common variations - Understand when and how to report changes or concerns - Support healthy functioning through good hygiene, nutrition, and mobility - Communicate and document accurately within your role This course can be completed in 60 minutes (depending on coffee/tea/bathroom breaks and interruptions).
